From 2017 until 2024 Clive was employed as owner’s representative for the design and build phase of the 160m RSV Nuyina. Clive provides ongoing support to the AAD as and when required. The project consisted of:

• Plan approval and assessment of the design including several formal design evaluation workshops at the builders’ offices in the Netherlands.
• Attendance during the build, testing, commissioning stages of the build in Romania.
• Oversight of the vessel maintenance during the first 3 Antarctic seasons of operation.
• Coordination of technical conversion/modification projects
